“Section 26″ refers to the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954, this section of the Act states how a tenant may end a business tenancy. The section sets out the information (in the notice) that a tenant needs to give the landlord in order to surrender the lease validly. The Section 26 will also contain the tenant’s proposal for a new lease.
