Roger Hannah & Co acted on behalf of a private management company comprising of 10no. self-contained flats in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire.
We undertook an initial inspection to review the condition of the property, the design and cost options to provide a report detailing the options in respect of a long-term solution for the roof and rainwater systems.
Acted as Employers Agent to manage the process from design, consultation with the Local Authority, Building Control, Planning and Conservation Officer to ensure a fully compliance scheme from tender through to completion and sign off. Additionally, we made sure that each of the residents were fully informed and represented at the design and construction stage to enable a collective and inclusive approach to the scheme.
The completed scheme provided the owners with a cost effective and aesthetically pleasing asset to the satisfaction of the stakeholders, which is now wind and watertight for a guaranteed period of time with an appearance which is in keeping with the local Conservation Area.
