Roger Hannah & Co appointed to prepare a Pre-Acquisition Building Condition Report on a Grade B listed, 19th Century building within the main business district of Glasgow City Centre.

Our Involvement 

Roger Hannah & Co prepared a detailed Building Condition Report with Strategic Advice and a Reinstatement Cost Assessment for building insurance purposes, to enable our Client to make an informed decision on the proposed purchase of the property.

 Our report included comments on:

  • The form of construction and the current condition of the internal and external fabric and the structure.
  • Legal and statutory requirements that require consideration.
  • Indicative costings for the key defects identified and associated repairs required over a 5-10 year period. 
  • RCA for insurance purposes.
