Stephen joined in 2014 bringing with him a wealth of experience in the Compulsory Purchase and Valuation sectors. He has been employed within the North West property market for over 20 years, working for a range of Practices from regional and national firms as well as client side. Stephen has experience in providing valuation and strategic property advice to a wide variety of clients from both the private and public sectors.

Acting exclusively for claimants affected by HS2, Stephen is involved in a number of cases throughout the country, providing compensation advice, dealing with blight notices and undertaking negotiations. He is presently acting for a significant number of residents in Mexborough South Yorkshire as well as business in London and the North West.

Stephen advises commercial and residential landowners and occupiers nationwide as well as acquiring authorities on all compulsory purchase matters, including objections, blight notices, business relocations and extinguishments, negotiations and compensation claims.  He has acted on a number of high profile schemes, including Mersey Gateway, Etihad Campus and Ordsall Chord.  In addition, Stephen has experience acting as an Expert Witness in a number of Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) references.

As an RICS Registered Valuer he regularly provides valuation advice to many high street lenders for loan security purposes, as well as for financial and taxation purposes.  In addition to his role within the Valuation Team, Stephen is also involved in the provision of valuation and strategic property advice for development and regeneration purposes.
