£750,000 Industrial Unit Sale

The sale has recently been completed of an 11,087 square foot industrial and office unit in Hazel Grove, Stockport, negotiated by Roger Hannah & Co.

Acting on behalf of owners Vinci plc, the unit, which is part of the popular Newby Road Industrial Estate, has been sold to South Manchester property investors and developers Space Group for £750,000, reresenting a price per square foot of £68.

Stuart Cooper, head of agency and partner at Roger Hannah & Co, commented, "The size of this deal proves that there are astute buyers still in the market - we believe these will increase over the next six months as we hope to be at, or close to, the bottom of the market. As the confidence of lenders, who are still extremely nervous, returns, the market will be ready to respond."
