£800K Acquisition of Former Plastics (Mcr) Ltd Site

Roger Hannah & Co, on behalf of clients, have acquired the former Plastics (Manchester) Ltd site in Levenshulme for £800,000.

The 3.1 acre site on Peter Moss Way in Levenshulme, Manchester, which includes circa 60,000 square feet of industrial buildings, became available just before the moulded components specialists went into receivership with the loss of more than 70 jobs.

The new owners intend to let the property in the short term, with a long term view to potential comprehensive residential-led redevelopment. Commenting on the transaction, Simon Cook, partner at Roger Hannah & Co, said, "The acquisition of the former Plastics property represents good value for money and should hopefully enable the purchaser to recoup sufficient annual income whilst the residential market recovers."
